Vickerstock are currently working in conjunction with a leading FMCG client based in the South Armagh area to assist with the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineer.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for;

• Be responsible for mechanical maintenance and repairs across all areas of the plant.
• You will be responsible for stock and the order of parts.
• Working with packing machines, weighers, multi-headers, gearing systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, wrappers and multivacs.
• Proactively identify and deal rectify potential equipment/services issues.
• Work with other functions as part of the manufacturing team to ensure efficient running of the equipment and prioritize work as agreed.

As a Maintenance Engineer ideally you will have;

• Mechanical Background would be idea, although Electrical could be an option.
• Experience within a FMCG background
• A strong knowledge of Maintenance Systems, Stock control and the ordering of parts.
