HR Officer

Vickerstock are working alongside one of our leading clients based in Mallusk to recruit a HR Officer with payroll experience to join their busy team. The HR Officer will be responsible for the HR function and the delivery of core HR activities.

The HR Officer will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for processing computerised weekly payroll of approximately 100 people
  • First point of contact for HR related queries
  • Update recruitment processes
  • Drive improvement in employee welfare
  • Implement a talent management strategy including workforce planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, retention, training and development, performance planning, management development and succession planning
  • Support disciplinary, performance management process
  • Development of an overall HR business plan with measurable objectives
  • Administer the HR systems
  • Manage local inductions for all new starts
  • Responsible for new employee administration
  • Responsible for leaver administration, including conducting exit interviews
  • Complete and analyse weekly and monthly HR Reports and KPI's
  • Ensure compliance with relevant HR policies, procedures, practices and employment legislation

The HR Officer should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous HR generalist experience
  • HR or closely related degree
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working within a fast moving highly pressurised environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
