Vickerstock are delighted to be recruitment partners with our client who are specialists in supplying free from products to millions of customers around the globe on the appointment of Hygiene Operative for their newly developed food manufacturing facility based in South Armagh.

As the successful Hygiene Operative, you will ensure the factory consistently adheres to high health and safety standards.

This role operates on a 40 hours per week basis, with a mixture of days and evening shifts which will be given in detail upon application.

What your day will look like:

• Contribute to the maintenance of food safety standards by collaborating with colleagues and adhering to hygiene protocols and best practices.
• Maintaining personal hygiene standards in accordance with company policy, wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided. This includes appropriate safety PPE during chemical handling.
• Completing cleaning tasks according to schedules and procedures as set out by your manager, including daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning routines, to ensure thorough sanitisation and prevention of contamination.
• Managing waste responsibly by correctly disposing of food waste and packaging materials, while keeping designated waste areas clean and tidy.

What you will need to succeed:

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
