Logistics Administrator - Fixed Term Contract

West London | Office-based

Salary: £25,000-£28,000 (6-month contract - potential to become permanent)

Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a leading importer of high-quality meat products to recruit a Logistics Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of their busy logistics function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-driven administrator to join a fast-paced FMCG environment, with strong exposure across commercial, logistics and supply chain teams.

Your new role:

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will provide essential back-office and operational support across sales order processing and product inbound activities.

This role offers broad exposure across shipping, customs documentation, invoicing and ERP system management, supporting the smooth flow of goods from supplier through to warehouse and customer.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting sales order processing and shipment administration.
  • Managing weight updates and shipment processing.
  • Conducting service provider invoice spot checks.
  • Supporting invoicing, EDI processing (Invoices & ASNs) and credit notes.
  • Assisting with import documentation, approvals and agent liaison.
  • Supporting Ex-Bond clearances and customs documentation.
  • Sending packing lists to warehouses.
  • Uploading stock into Business Central (ERP system).
  • Maintaining shipping trackers and ETA updates.
  • Supporting chargebacks, debit notes and incident management.
  • Creating new product codes.
  • Providing general administrative support to the logistics team.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Strong administrative experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Experience within freight, logistics or supply chain (desirable).
  • Understanding of Incoterms and UK customs formalities (advantageous).
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Portuguese language skills desirable.
