Vickerstock are working in partnership with an industry leading design & manufacturing firm in the Dungannon area on the appointment of a Logistics Coordinator.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be the lead point of contact for logistic coordination. You will be responsible for the transport co-ordination, freight costings and compliancy aspects of a busy multi-brand Logistics department.

In your new role:

• You will be the lead point of contact for all logistical coordination
• Develop strong working relationships with key contacts and suppliers
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to update on the progress of orders
• Obtaining freight costings and updating and maintaining freight rates
• Completion of export paperwork for machine orders, providing accurate documentation in accordance with relevant legislation, customer and carrier requirements
• Oversee audits both internally and externally
• Ensure your department meets all compliancy rules & regulations
• Handling customer complaints & queries with an empathetic approach to ensure the issue is resolved in a calm and efficient manner
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery all products according to customer needs and objectives

What you will need to succeed:

• 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience in a high-volume business, shipping to a global customer base
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs to include Maths and English at grade C or above
• Strong MS Office skills, in particular excellent proven working knowledge of MS Excel

Desirable (It would be great if you have this but don't worry if you don't)

• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP system
• Experience in a high-volume business, shipping to a global customer base
• Experience of all modes of transport including Heavy Haulage and Ro-Ro shipping
