Vickerstock are working in partnership with well-established, forward-thinking food manufacturer located in Donegal who have been producing high-quality dairy-based snack products for over 25 years and supply to leading supermarkets, convenience chains, and foodservice customers across the UK, Ireland, and beyond. With big ambitions and a reputation for innovation, they're looking to strengthen their maintenance team with a skilled, proactive engineer.

What you'll be doing:

• Diagnosing and repairing process and packaging equipment
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
• Supporting production teams to achieve quality and output targets
• Maintaining engineering stores and accurate maintenance records
• Getting involved in continuous improvement and efficiency projects
• Supporting and mentoring operators on equipment use and basic fault-finding

What we're looking for:

• Time-served apprenticeship or qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar food/FMCG manufacturing role
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills (multi-skilled highly desirable)

Hours of work:

• 39 hours per week
• Days 7am - 3.30pm
• Evenings 3pm - 11.30pm
