Role Overview
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure the site's production machinery operates safely, efficiently, and with maximum uptime. Working within a fast-paced food environment, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and contribute to continuous improvement across the facility.
Key Responsibilities


  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production and packaging machinery

  • Deliver both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs

  • Diagnose faults and provide effective, lasting engineering solutions

  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects

  • Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and enhance performance

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in line with site and audit requirements

  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety and food safety standards


Your Profile


  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification

  • Mechanical or electrical maintenance experience

  • Background in food manufacturing or FMCG highly beneficial

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in a production environment

  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
