Vickerstock are proud to partner with a leading European food supplier in their search for a full-time, permanent Maintenance Technician to join their team in Co. Kildare.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Responding to machine breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance on assets and maintaining the factory in good working order.
• Deliver a high-quality maintenance service to production by ensuring that production equipment operates efficiently, safely and in line with the maintenance strategy.
• You will carry out planned work assigned by management and proactive tasks that increase throughput, yield and reduce waste.

Experience required:

• Relevant trade qualification (electrical or mechanical)
• Ideally 3+ years maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
• Familiar with planned preventive maintenance
• Experienced in fault finding and problem solving.
• Comprehensive knowledge of high-speed mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation and PLC control systems

Working hours (further details at application stage):

• Rotational day shift and night shift
• Day hours: 8am - 8.30pm
• Night hours: 8pm - 8.30am
