Mechanical Project Manager
Are you a Mechanical Project Manager who thrives on delivering large-scale engineering projects from concept through to completion?
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a market-leading Building Services contractor operating across the UK & Ireland - specialists in offsite prefabricated MEP and energy solutions that are redefining how major infrastructure is designed and delivered.
You'll be joining a forward-thinking, technically driven organisation that continues to expand across the UK and Europe - where projects are complex, standards are high, and career progression is genuine.
The Role
You'll lead the full lifecycle of mechanical projects - from design coordination and procurement through to installation, commissioning, and client handover. Working closely with in-house design, commercial, and site teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full project delivery, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Provide technical oversight across mechanical systems, equipment, and installations.
- Liaise with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to source key materials and manage supplier performance.
- Oversee subcontractors and external partners, ensuring quality, safety, and programme adherence.
- Monitor financial performance and maintain accurate project reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
About You
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical project management within manufacturing, industrial, or building services environments.
- Strong technical understanding of MEP systems and plant utilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and project management tools (MS Project, ASTA, etc.).
What's on Offer
This business doesn't just deliver innovative engineering - it invests in its people.
You'll enjoy a modern, supportive working environment and a benefits package that reflects a company that truly values its staff:
- Competitive salary + pension & life assurance
- Health cash plan & free annual health check
- Career development and in-house training
- Regular social events, wellbeing initiatives & free on-site parking
If you're a driven Mechanical Project Manager who wants to take ownership of projects that make a real impact - this is your opportunity to step into a role with challenge, autonomy, and long-term career potential.
