Ballymena | Permanent (4day week)

Vickerstock are proud to be partnering with a well-established, innovation-led healthcare business based in the Ballymena area to recruit a Pharmacy Support Specialist. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work at the forefront of pharmacy technology solutions in a company currently going through a major scale-up phase.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is perfect for a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about customer training, support, and technology adoption. You will play a vital role in supporting client onboarding and delivering a first-class service experience.

Your day to day

  • Assist with providing training on innovative pharmacy automation tools (e.g. robotics, dispensing lockers, eMAR)
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the client lifecycle
  • Support the project management of new installations and upgrades
  • Assist in system testing and provide product feedback
  • Provide technical support for existing customer, working collaboratively within the wider support team
  • Conduct market, customer and competitor research to support new solutions, business cases and product development
  • Represent the company at trade shows and client events
  • Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota and undertake travel across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and the UK as required
  • Contribute to service development through insights and improvement suggestions

About You
Essential:

  • Experience gained in a busy pharmacy environment - happy to speak to Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, or someone from ACT, Robot Operator background).
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service, knowledge sharing and training + advice
  • Enjoys research, sharing marketplace info/proposals around new opportunities
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - team orientated
  • Ability to travel to customer sites

And even better if you have this, however not a deal breaker:

  • Experience with pouching robots
  • Experience in providing services to Pharmacies and Care Homes
