Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a leading facilities management company to recruit a Site Manager for a short-term project on a prestigious building.

This role will oversee the safe removal of an existing parapet wall and the construction of a new structure on a live site. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for site coordination, contractor management, and ensuring all works are delivered safely and to specification.

The Role

• Manage day-to-day site operations for the removal and reconstruction of a parapet wall

• Oversee appointed contractors including scaffolding and specialist subcontractors

• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations

• Supervise works at height and enforce safe working practices

• Coordinate site schedules and maintain progress against programme

• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are met

• Liaise with project stakeholders and provide regular progress updates

What you will need

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction or refurbishment projects

• Strong background or understanding of brickwork and masonry

• Experience managing works at height

• Valid SMSTS/SSSTS and relevant site safety certifications (preferred)

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain site safety standards
