Production Blending Technician

Mon - Thur 6am - 3pm & Fri 6am - 11am

Vickerstock are working in partnership with our specialist FMCG global manufacturing client who are on the search for a Blending Technician to join the production team at their state-of-the-art factory in County Wexford.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a key member of the production team. As a Blending Technician you will plan, control and carry out daily blends for production in line with production specification requirements. This is a role where you will genuinely get involved in the day-to-day work and output of a busy client focused environment.

Key Duties

• Co-ordinate and carry out blends of ingredients according to the production schedule and ensure results comply with batch requirements
• Supply finished blend to production lines
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
• Input all data, ingredient and yield information into
• Liaise with procurement to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials
• Cleaning and sanitation of blending equipment in line with quality specifications

Essential Criteria

• Experience in a Production environment, ideally Food or Pharma production
• Consistent numerical and mathematical accuracy
• Exceptional attention to detail

Working hours will be Monday - Thursday 6am to 3pm with an early Friday finish at 11am (39 hours per week). In return you will receive a starting salary of €30,000 which will be reviewed once fully trained etc.
