Are you a People focused Manager working within the Manufacturing Sector? Have you ambitions to influence and steer on business decisions?

Our Client has a fantastic reputation for excellence and continues to invest heavily in sustainable solutions at it's impressive Armagh based facility. Part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Production Manager will play a key role in shaping the future of this growing business driving Operational Excellence.

Key elements of the role (in conjunction with HR, Operations and Quality Lead):

Operational Excellence
Creation, implementation and high-quality delivery of the production plan, maximising yield and minimising downtime and waste, according to set targets.

People
Ultimately this is a People Management focused role - you will ensure all production staff are operating at full optimisation and production processes are running efficiently across the business.

Continuous Improvement/Quality + Safety focus
Maintain Quality Management systems and standards.
Recommend improvement of the production processes to include efficiency, quality and safety.

Your essentials ingredients for success:

You will have proven experience within a manufacturing environment at a similar level and be able to demonstrate a high-level understanding of operating integrity, quality systems and compliance.

Naturally you will be a strong communicator, highly organised with excellent planning and time management skills. Problem solving will very much be, 'your thing', alongside a tenacity get to the root cause of operational issues. You will also have an analytical approach with strong reporting skills

Flexibility with regards to working hours is a must to ensure sufficient management of night and weekend shift.

Understanding of MRP systems, experience in Lean initiatives and NEBOSH certificate would be a distinct advantage.
