Vickerstock are working in partnership with a well-established food manufacturing business in Dublin to recruit a Quality Assurance Technologist. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role will support the delivery of food safety, quality and compliance standards across production.

You will also act as Deputy Management Representative, helping ensure compliance with standards including BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9, Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA), Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and organic certification requirements.

What your day to day will look like:

• Monitor production processes to ensure food safety, quality and compliance standards are met.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the site HACCP and Quality Management System.
• Carry out quality checks including weight control, metal detection, temperature monitoring and product labelling verification.
• Ensure accurate completion of production and traceability documentation.
• Deliver training to production staff on SOPs, CPs and CCPs.
• Conduct hygiene, housekeeping and process audits across the facility.
• Support preparation for customer, regulatory and third-party audits.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations, corrective actions and complaint management.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Experience in a Quality Assurance or Technical role within food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Experience with BRC or similar food safety standards is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
