As Quality Manager you will be responsible for

• Assisting the Food, Safety, Quality department in its key business objective to be to be recognised as industry leaders in Food Safety, Quality, Innovation and Animal Welfare.
• Help Promote a Culture of Food Safety on site.
• Supporting the FSQ Manager on the implementation and continuing improvement of the Quality Management System on site
• Aid and support the FSQ Manager on Implementation
• Support and aid the sites FSQ Manager on the management of the Sites Hygiene System
• Aid and support with onsite training and documentation for Hygiene and SOP training across all departments.
• To support and aid the FSQ Manager on the Preventative Maintenance plan for the site.

Criteria

• 3rd Level Qualification in a Food Science or related discipline
• In-depth knowledge & understanding of HACCP and its use to create a food safety management system.
• Clear understanding of the legislation relating to food production and animal welfare
• Understanding of key customer requirements, audit standards & processes
• Excellent understanding of Food Safety & Quality processes and Quality Management
• Keen interest in helping lead and development a team to deliver high standards.
