- Lead the site's Emergency Response Programme, ensuring procedures, resources and training are in place
- Oversee robust incident investigation processes, monitor trends, and drive preventive action
- Assess the EHS impact of changes to plant, processes or equipment, ensuring compliance and effective risk control
- Manage waste and environmental monitoring programmes in line with regulatory requirements
- Monitor evolving EHS legislation and ensure site-wide compliance with current and future obligations
- Lead and support EHS projects on-site and across the UK/Ireland region, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Partner with site leadership to align on EHS priorities and embed a culture of accountability and safety ownership
- Manage EHS budgets, driving efficiencies and cost savings across services and equipment providers
- Oversee facilities management activities, including contractor works, planned maintenance and compliance with regional legislation
What you will need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree (or Level 6 qualification) in EHS, Engineering, or Science discipline (or equivalent experience)

- Proven expertise in EHS management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated ability to interpret EHS legislation and deliver effective compliance programmes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
- Experience engaging with regulatory bodies (e.g. HSE, EPA, Local Councils)
- Highly organised, decisive and capable of leading both strategic initiatives and hands-on activities
Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):

- Membership/accreditation with a relevant professional body
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems
