Vickerstock are working with a Tier 1 Civil Contractor on the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor

Your new role:

• Working on a large civil infrastructure upgrade to Dublin City Centre
• Manage subcontractor and procurement schedules
• Prepare monthly CVR reports
• Identify commercial risks and value engineering
• Manage cost control on your project
• Negotiate and prepare agreements with suppliers and contractors
• Assist in technical writing
• Mentor junior members of the Commercial Team

What you'll need to be successful as a Senior Quantity Surveyor

• 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK
• Degree level education in Quantity Surveying
• Experience in Civil Infrastructure, Heavy Civils, Highways or Utilities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Full Drivers Licence
• Chartered status is preferable
• NEC Contract experience
