Senior Site Engineer | Galway

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading Irish Contractor to appoint a Senior Engineer on a landmark site in their portfolio.

The Project

This role is based on a Galway city site, comprising c.150 residential units, including houses and apartments

Your new role as Senior Engineer

Review site drawings in accordance with works on site and report discrepancies.

Manage sub-contractors, review works and perform regular inspections.

Ensure works are BCAR compliant.

Assist with on-site quality management.

Manage utility provider works such as Irish Water.

Manage on-site Health and Safety compliance.

Work closely with the design team to ensure works are in accordance with plans.

Maintain records and documentation.

Regularly report on project progress.

Mentor site engineers.

Continually learn from the Project Manager, with a view to growing your skillset.

What you'll need to be a successful Senior Engineer

4 years experience as a Site Engineer.

Residential experience

A CSCS card

Level 8 Engineering qualification.

RC frame experience is beneficial but not required

Permanently based in Ireland or Northern Ireland and able to commute to site.
