The opportunity….
Reporting to the General Manager, the Technical Support Advisor will provide first and second line technical support to customers across a range of hardware and software products, while delivering outstanding customer service.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and collaborative team, in a great working environment, and contribute to advancements in the healthcare sector.
Your day-to-day:
- Working as part of the support team to deliver technical assistance on existing hardware and software
- Acting as the first point of contact for incoming support queries via phone, webchat, and ticketing system
- Logging and documenting fixes, and creating user guides to help reduce common customer issues
- Escalating more complex technical issues to relevant teams
- Providing occasional on-site support if required
- Assisting on IT/software projects (e.g. data migration, infrastructure upgrades)
- Managing the customer support portal and ensuring timely responses
- Producing reports to monitor customer satisfaction levels
- Coaching others and contributing to knowledge sharing
- Participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota
- Supporting installation, configuration, and network set-up as needed
About You…
Essential:
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and knowledgeable support
- Previous experience providing technical support for both hardware and software
- Strong technical aptitude and confidence with a variety of technologies
- Solid understanding of operating systems (particularly Windows and Android)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Proactive, professional, and a strong problem-solver
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience delivering 1st and 2nd line support within pharmacy or healthcare automation
- Previous experience in the healthcare sector
