Civil Engineer (Renewable Energy/Data Centre) | Belfast

Vickerstock are working exclusively with a leading EPC contractor specialising in the renewable energy and data centre markets to support in the recruitment of an experienced Civil Engineer. With more than 30-years' experience delivering projects across the world, this organisation has recently established a new Belfast office to enhance their already exceptional offering while giving local engineering talent the opportunity to work in a high-growth sector without the need to travel or relocate.

Your new role as a Civil Engineer (Renewable Energy/Data Centre)

• You will be responsible for the Civil, Structural and Ground Engineering elements of projects, covering solar farms, wind farms, battery storage facilties and data centres.
• Work alongside the internal construction and electrical planning teams to review construction and design plans from external consultants.
• You will also be involved in project planning, route selection for HV cables, progress reporting and quality management.

What you will need to succeed as a Civil Engineer (Renewable Energy/Data Centre)

• BEng / MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
• A minimum of 2-years' experience working within the utilities sector, ideally with some experience of cabling projects
• Strong knowledge of PLS, STAAD and AutoCAD
